Bud Light Seltzer 5% ABV review PART 2 {VLOG}

In today’s NJroute22.com VLOG – we follow up on our initial Bud Light seltzer review.

We said we’d try it one more time.

The first crack at it – we said it was it a decent seltzer. Higher alcohol than our gold standard Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer.

Although the extra 1g of carbs didn’t bug us – the added sugar and somewhat “addictive” nature of the drink concerned us.

We bought another case of a single flavor (Black Cherry) to see what the outcome was.

And our initial review was spot on.

The seltzers are good – and we get a stronger buzz from them.

However, we undoubtedly feel (unnaturally) compelled to drink WAY faster and subsequently WAY MORE than we usually drink.

So while the Bud Light Seltzers are “enjoyable” at face value – we have hereby concluded that we will NEVER buy them again.

It’s like food or drinks really controlling you – or at the very least COERCING you physically to consume more than you do without those mechanisms.

Another reason why sugar in any capacity is just evil.

(PS- we should say, however, there may be a “silver lining” to this. If we drink faster – we might actually get an hour or two extra sleep. Whether that is good sleep or not is questionable.)

Have a great day.
