E. Coli infects at least 6 in western New Jersey

The news is reporting that at least six people have been infected with E. coli in the NJroute22.com area. Yet another reason to prepare your own food, and shop carefully.

The New Jersey Department of Health said on April 6, 2018, that the outbreak happened in Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties.

They’re conducting interviews with victims about their diets to try to pinpoint where the outbreak came from.

The Warren County health commissioner has reportedly identified a Panera Bread restaurant in Phillipsburg, NJ as the possible source.
