Bon & Viv Seltzer – worth the extra carbs?

Bon & Viv Seltzer Review

We recently tried the Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer – and share our video review.

Not entirely sure we will continue with this brand, as it does have twice the carbs as others (Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling seltzer as well as Wild Bason Boozy Sparkling Water.)

But the flavor was okay.

All depends on your goals. Our goals are certainly different than most! We actually try to meet them!

They are:

  1. A noticeable buzz without becoming smashed and knocked out.
  2. Little to no hangover.
  3. No impact to blood sugar.
  4. Reasonably priced.
  5. Good taste experience (enjoy).

In general – we did “enjoy” these drinks. On the surface. A bit more costly, but rather tasty. But that may have been just a superficial experience, as the effects were not immediately realized.

The “next day” was a different story – as the overall vibe was not as pleasant as we were used to with regular Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer consumption. We were not happy that our feeling was worse than we wanted.

Our first theory is that there was something in the drink that we didn’t agree with to some degree. Perhaps that extra gram of carbs had something to do with it. Maybe it had sulfites. Perhaps it was the CORN SYRUP they put into it.

We never want to put corn syrup into our bodies – regardless of how little. So we’re probably not going to buy this brand again. Lucky for us, there are other alternatives.

Do you like Bon & Viv? How do you feel knowing they have bad stuff like Corn Syrup in them?

Enjoy your future beverage experiences nonetheless!
