Smirnoff Seltzer gets a makeover {VLOG}
In today’s NJroute22.com VLOG – we revisit the seltzer that started it all for us – Smirnoff.
Back in the day, it was called “Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer,” which was fun for us to say.
Then, recognizing the need to emphasize the lack of sugar – they re-named it to Smirnoff ZERO SUGAR Hard Seltzer. But the cans remained the same as previously. Kind of a mish-mosh if you ask us.
Finally – we have this latest iteration simply called Smirnoff ZERO SUGAR SELTZER. Along with a new can design – and three new flavors to the variety pack.
One original flavor remains – Berry Lemonade, which was always a favorite right behind the Pina Colada flavor.
But Pina Colada is gone, and the three new ones are Black Cherry, Lemon Lime, and Orange. Back to basics, I guess!
These do remain our top choice because of the overall best package. 4.5% alcohol, 1g of carbs, and zero sugar. No artificial sweeteners either.
Plus, they have a nice price point – at about $13.99 per 12-pack when you buy them buy the case.
We think that is perfect because some of the other seltzers at 5% tend to mess us up a bit more.
Smirnoff will remain our go-to spiked seltzer until something de-thrones them!
