When you see countless stories of once successful business-owners FAIL because of “government mandates,” it makes you sad. It is disheartening because there is no reconciliation. Except for the rare instances where “crowdsourcing” comes to the rescue. That is far and few between, unfortunately.

Victims of Idiocy

via Everything Voluntary

Yesterday I learned that one of my favorite restaurants ever–a simple little diner in rural Pennsylvania–has closed for good. It had been in business for a very long time, so it’s extremely likely that the bullshit shutdowns and other idiotic government-imposed restrictions were what killed it.

Now, imagine that you’re the owner of that place–or an employee, manager, etc.–and then you hear that a federal court has ruled unconstitutional the orders by Fuhrer Wolf (“Governor” of Pennsylvania) that totally fucked up your life.

“Well golly, he wasn’t allowed to fuck up my life after all! But here I am, with my still-fucked-up life.”

You get one guess whether all of the victims of this idiocy will ever be “made whole.” You also get one guess whether the evil shits who did it–including Governor Wolf–personally got paid off to do it. In all likelihood, they will keep their rewards, for doing illegal and immoral fascist bullshit, while their victims have to live with the consequences.

(P.S. THAT is why I at least want to help with as many 42 USC 1983 lawsuits as I can, against the political assholes PERSONALLY, including Governor Wolf, to see if we can’t create at least a little deterrence to such bullshit.)
