How many folks actually use acupuncture? Do you think it’s a “sham?” Considering it’s been around for thousands of years sure says something. Whether it’s “mind over matter” or not – if something has a chance of working – why not at least try it?
Tang Acupuncture of Lebanon, NJ {Route 31}
We received notification that Tang Acupuncture had recently relocated their offices to 1220 Route 31 North over in Lebanon, NJ (actually Clinton, but who’s splitting hairs). They were previously located in an obscure and hard-to-find office park on Route 22 in Readington, NJ.
It’s owned and operated by Van Tang, D.AC., L.Ac, MHA.
Here’s what they have to say about themselves:
About Tang Acupuncture
“Providing alternative medical care, we strive to reverse and prevent certain disease conditions using the fundamental healing principles of mind-body medicine. The concept of holistic, or whole-body health, is not a new one. In fact, holistic health care systems, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), have been used for thousands of years. The Holistic model is one that treats the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – concentrating on ongoing wellness, versus simply treating symptoms. One of the philosophies underlying Chinese medicine is that we are not separate from nature. Nature’s constant motion – its flowing seasons and cycles – match the inner ecosystems of our own bodies. Our results prove the best way to heal the natural body is naturally without pharmaceuticals.”
What they treat:
“We specialize in non-narcotic practices in healing pain such as headaches, chronic pain, joint pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and back pain. We use an array of treatment modalities such as Tui Na, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, and electro-stimulation. Our goal is to treat and relieve your pain permanently instead of using pharmaceuticals for temporary relief.
We also treat other health conditions or symptoms that are not pain-specific, such as anxiety, dizziness, depression, insomnia, hypertension, allergic rhinitis, etc.”

One day we’d be curious to see how acupuncture can possibly improve our lives. When we can afford to give it a test run, we will!
