Seriously – we just don’t go shopping anymore! {VLOG}
In today’s NJroute22.com VLOG – we want to share our feelings about shopping again.
While I am perfectly fine with going anywhere at any time – other members of my family are frightened.
As a result – collectively as a family – we DO NOT go anywhere anymore. We don’t go shopping at all – ever!
Almost hermits!
Quick errands is our shopping in 2021
I do run errands and pick up online food orders at places like ALDI. That is about it.
Perhaps if others had more relaxed feelings about this so-called “crisis,” things might be different.
However, because New Jersey is a state that has NOT eliminated mask mandates and other stupid restrictions – it’s probably best we do NOT subject our kids to that draconian terror.
It’s like a bunch of weird clueless zombies walking around.
But it is a slippery slope.
As time passes – especially formative years with young children – something is missing. Experience is one thing.
However, there is a silver lining – as your kids will be able to spend more time directly with their parents. Without those distractions. There could be some interesting benefits as a result. Time will tell.
What will the future hold?
But we still wonder what is on the horizon.
If “things” can just get back to where they were before.
We doubt it for now – because this crisis will be fresh in the minds of most people.
And most of those people reacted not based on personal experience, experimentation, or facts – but just on what was TOLD to them.
Bizarre, isn’t it? How come HUMANS aren’t their own “fact-checkers?” Can’t they see out of their own eyes? Or use their own brains to understand?
If we lived alone and didn’t have a family – we’d be perfectly fine.
It’s just too bad this “crisis” we’re all living with has had such a dramatic impact on life on planet earth.
There HAS to be a better way.
