Does going carnivore help with chapped lips? {VLOG}

In today’s NJroute22.com VLOG – we wonder how going almost zero-carb affects your skin or chapped lips.

Just wanted to bring up an interesting point.

We’ve been “carnivore light” for several years now (and have had the low-carb mindset for about a decade).

But the last few years especially.

And one thing we’ve realized this winter has been, that we have not had chapped lips or needed lip balm for years! It seems like right around when we ramped up the “carnivore” way of eating.

Is the carnivore / chapped lips connection a coincidence?

Not sure if this is a coincidence or not – but it’s an interesting correlation nonetheless.

Remember that we were pretty much low carb for the past 10 years – but with fairly frequent “cheats.”

That included sneaking in a potato chip or three. TONS of salads, vegetables, and fruits. As well as restaurant food.

Since we’ve really clamped down on the cheats as well as most veggies – our skin has been at its best.

Is it just good luck on our part – or does our diet play a role?

I’m willing to bet it has a lot to do with our diet – and we almost don’t care to know the details. All I care about is that we’re humming along nicely.

Anyone else notices many of their “maladies” have subsided once they went carnivore?

So many people have reported that bad conditions they had just went away once they switched to Carnivore.

Maybe it’s time for more people to discover how much happier they can be if they saw for themselves.
