Deceptive product names and brands

Today, the name of the game is to psychologically “trick” people into feeling good about the products they choose.

What was once reserved solely for truly good and healthy products, nowadays, just about everything has some kind of human manipulation built into the name or branding. And some of it can be considered “deceptive.”

Much of it is food – but there are many others, especially where big, bad, scary “toxins” can be taken advantage of (like household chemicals, supplies, etc.) in order for the consumer to be under the impression of “safety.”

Today’s NJroute22.com VLOG talks about just a few – and what kind of mindset to have about this ridiculous phenomenon that is way too prevalent – with also way too many people getting suckered into buying into it.
