You ever think about human addictions? You ever try to piece them all together? We chat about in in today’s NJroute22.com VLOG.
It is so fascinating to see how almost every single, solitary human addiction has been taken advantage of for monetary gain.
- Street-level (drugs, crack, heroin)
- Ego-inflation (social media, plastic surgery, physical fitness)
- Emotional (TV shows, entertainment)
- Tribalism (politics, gangs)
- Obesity (carbohydrates, food additives)
The list goes on forever. Even hermits buy books written about their lifestyle, and buy “prepping” gear. It’s insane.
What stone has been left unturned? Probably none!
Why certainly – yes! There are good addictions!
While “addiction” may be a negative connotation, you can at least have GOOD HABITS.
Such as living sensibly, and being frugal.
Or ensuring that your family is safe and prepared.
And engaging in things that are productive, empowering, and provide growth – for you and your offspring.
Avoiding the “mainstream” is also key. Because “mainstream” often involves nefarious others who seek to separate you from your monetary capabilities. In other words – try not wasting money!
Developing a strong family should be your main objective.
Then identifying those mechanisms out there – that really don’t add any long-lasting value to you or your family. Just costly ways to expend your time before you die!
