SMPL Hard Seltzer Review {VLOG}

SMPL Hard Seltzer Review {VLOG}

In today’s NJroute22.com VLOG – we check out a new entry into the low-carb spiked seltzer market: SMPL Hard Seltzer. They come from Flying Fish Brewing Company out of Somerdale, New Jersey (map – about 10 miles south of Philly).

These seltzers are “rated” at 1 gram of carbohydrates per 12-ounce can. And contain 5% alcohol by volume.

Three flavors in the variety pack – Blueberry Peach, Pomegranate Lime, and Mango Kiwi.

We found the Pomegranate Lime to have the most favorable flavor of the bunch, but they were all acceptable. No “bad” flavors per see. We had some other brands in the past that tasted like shit.

But the bonus here – and why we will keep them in rotation – is their VALUE.

These come in 15-PACKS. For $16 each, or $30 for a case of 30 cans. That comes out to exactly 1 dollar per can. Of 5%.

Comparatively, our standby Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer is slightly costlier ($1.17 per can), with lower alcohol (4.5%).

Another “perk” in our opinion, is the standard “old-fashioned” soda sized cans. We have a major pet peeve when it comes to those taller “slim cans.”

All that said – there is no reason for us NOT to buy this regularly.

Way to go, SMPL!
