Here we go again with our supermarket roundup for the week/weekend starting October 5, 2018.
Remember, most stuff sold at supermarkets are not necessarily “good for you.” Yes, they keep us alive in one shape or form – but much of what is available is technically “frankenfood.” Scary, but true.
Even if it says “natural” or uses other feel-good words, you have to be very careful! Understanding our mass-produced food world is a complex web to unravel, and most people are either unable or even worse, unwilling to expose the racket that feeds us. And movements like organic and vegetarian are also riddled with mistruths as well.
Anyway – we still shop at places like ShopRite and so on, and they do sell non-food items that are useful as well. LOL.
