Taking over the spot that was once known for Ol’ West BBQ on Route 31 in Clinton, NJ is Harper’s Table Restaurant and Bar.
We have a hunch they’ll be around for a long time to come.
Harper’s Table appears to understand the fundamentals
While we have not even visited Harper’s Table yet – we already know that they’re a winner.
From the constantly full parking lot, to the fairly priced menu, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, it’s clear that they hit the spot.
Also, it appears they’ve cleaned up the place quite a bit. The layout is the same, but “renewed” with re-purposed materials from Hunterdon County, NJ barns! How cool is that?
[A little background – we don’t eat out much. Home cooks here. We also are the types that rarely drink alcohol outside. Our bar-drinking days are behind us. But if and when we do decide to hit up a restaurant – Harper’s Table will be the next on the list!]
